Just a quick report.
 We had excellent weather this last Sat up at VIS. A very large group of interested people and lots of kids right from the start. Cliff and Toni from Whac as well as a few others from whac. me and Janet from Bigisland astronomy.com and Josh from Hilo astro came by later.

We all set up and then entertained the large group of people with the objects of the night sky. Janet helped a bunch of kids learn how to use the Dobs. People looking at the moon before it set.

Then it was onto nebula s and globular s. I had my WO 80 mm set up and showed off Omega Centari,M4 ,and all the fun objects in Sagatarius, the triffid,Swan etc.

Cliff was showing off his beautifull 24 " dob lots of ohhs and aaaaas
as a large line formed behind his scope and Toni,s

I finaly got my goto working well and stared doing some imaging.  I got some cool shots taken afocaly from Cliffs scope and a few great shots thru mine. We left around 3 am and Cliff and Toni were still at it.
